When and how did you get your start in the industry? (year, where, etc..,)
I started Cosmetology at a vocational school in 2002.
Why did you choose the beauty industry?
I chose the beauty industry because I've been passionate about hair and makeup since I was a little girl. It was a no brainer for me!
What do you love about working at The Hair Company?
Working at The Hair Company has given me a lot of extra skill sets. I've helped with inventory, management, networking, team building, opening another location, setting goals financially/professionally and had continuous education in hair, skin and makeup.
Tell us about you… Spouse/Significant other, Kids, Family, Pets, etc..,
I've been married to my lovely husband, Stephen for 4 years. We are expecting our baby girl in fall of 2019! Our fur baby, Hannah is the light of our lives!
What do you like to do on your days off?
On my personal time you can find me landscaping, gardening, shopping, photographing, hanging with mom, reading and taking care of the house
Favorite services to offer.....
My favorite services are all types of coloring. Cutting short textured styles or bobs of all types.

What's the most inspiring part of your job?
An inspiring part of doing hair is seeing results.

If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be......... I'd be saving animals!

What advice would you give to recent new stylist? "Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck."
When I was 5, I was pretty sure I'd be a Hairstylist when I grew up.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve......Something devoted to mental illness and caretakers.

Where would you like to go on a dream vacation? Thailand
When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried? My DH misheard a baby registry item. The item was butt balm and he thought I said butt bomb.

What tv show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love? 90 Day Fiance.
What one food do you wish had zero calories? Pasta
What music is on your phone? The Dirty Heads, Jason Aldean, Project Pat

What is on your bucket list? Volunteer at elephant sanctuary

If you were an animal what would you be? Bird. Plentiful food, head south for winter.

Before working at The Hair Company, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had? Before working at The Hair Company, I worked at a liquor store. It was interesting to see how people operate in their daily lives. You have people who come in for a quarter pint of alcohol with pennies or you have Tom Clancy's assistant picking up cases of wine.
