When and how did you get your start in the industry?
I started as a shampoo girl in a salon then apprenticed there to get my license which I have had since march of 2015
Why did you choose the beauty industry?
I have always enjoyed doing hair and when schooling for nursing didn't work for me I already had my license for hair so I knew that's where I belonged.
What do you love about working at The Hair Company?
I love the atmosphere and the fact that we all work so well together as a team. If help is needed in regards to anything someone is always there to lend a hand. This is especially important to me as I feel like when I came here there was a lot I didn't know so I really appreciated all the help.
Tell us about you…
I've been married for years to my husband Jack. We have two dogs named Zoey and Sadie. No kids yet but the dogs are definitely my babies.
What do you like to do on your days off?
Run errands, just relax or do housework. I don't really feel like I truly get any time off with life being so busy, I'm always working.
What are your favorite services to offer and why?
Color of any kind because they are the transformation I love seeing the most. I also enjoy doing formal styles I like to make people feel like their hair looks wonderful for their special event.
Products you can't live without and why?
Pureology anything! Soft finish hairspray, 21 spray and strength cure shampoo and conditioner are my favorites.
What's the most inspiring part of your job?
When you see a client excited about their fresh do or just so happy with the results. I love making others feel beautiful.

If I weren't so damn good at my job, I'd probably be.........
Doing anything that didn't require needing to talk to people all day haha!
Tell us three things most people don’t know about you…
1. I have a twin. No we don't look anything alike. 2. Only a few years ago I thought I would be a nurse. Turns out I can't deal with blood and needles as well as I thought I could. 3. I used to play guitar.
How do you want people to remember you?
As a happy person who enjoyed helping others.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
My Nana, she is the strongest person I know and I absolutely don't know what I'd do without her. I wouldn't be where I am today without her.

What advice would you give to recent new stylist? To not be afraid to ask for help. If you make mistake don't be so hard on yourself we have all made them. Learn whatever you can in any opportunity you can, you can never know enough.
When I was 5, I was pretty sure I'd be a vet when I grew up.
If you could pick one theme for The Hair Company to turn into a book about the company, what would it be? Teamwork
If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve...Sleeping/ relaxing
Where would you like to go on a dream vacation? Hawaii
