A Little More About

Lauren

What do you love most about what you do?

I find immense joy in boosting people's self-esteem and making them feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. I believe that enhancing one's appearance can have a powerful impact on their confidence and overall happiness.

What do you love most about working at The Hair Co?

I've had the privilege of being part of The Hair Company for 14 years. Education is a cornerstone here, and it's something I deeply value. The salon invests in our growth, providing opportunities to refine our skills and stay ahead of industry trends. This commitment to learning has been instrumental in my journey, allowing me to excel in my career and pass on my knowledge to my Apprentice. Being a mentor is a role I cherish. Sharing my experiences and knowledge gained at The Hair Company with training stylists is incredibly rewarding. I take pride in contributing to the salon's legacy by shaping the next generation of hairstylists.

Tell us a little bit more about yourself outside of work.

I recently got married in October of 2022 to a Ship Captain for the Navy, named Matt. Our household is a lively one with my 16 year old Stepdaughter, Alaina, and our three fur babies; Daisy, Hennie, and Hugo.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me on the water, enjoying fishing or trot-lining on our boat. Cooking is a shared passion of my Husband and I’s. We love to pour a glass of wine and experiment with new dishes. We often cook with our veggies and fresh herbs I grow in our garden. I have quite the green thumb. I am an aspiring DIY extraordinaire, I'm always knee-deep in home improvement projects, channeling my inner Joanna Gaines.
